I have been following the pending decision on whether or not Kappa Sig Fraternity is going to be kicked off campus. The decision was made on January 31, 2012. The Judicial Council has put Kappa Sig on a two-strike probation, they have already recieved one strike. The Judicial Council has declared that the fraternity may not have any social activities or participate in other organizations philanthropic activities until the end of next fall. Along with this the chapter has to come up with a community service plan and educate its members on alcohol abuse. The main point is that the fraternity is able to stay on campus.
Five Questions as a reporter:
1. Who was the boy or boys hurt by the hazing?
2. Are they ok now?
3. Has hazing always been a problem within the fraternity?
4. What are your plans on moving forward for the fraternity?
5. Does everyone in the fraternity have to get educated about alcohol abuse?
